Basic Song Chooser extension

The Basic Song Chooser extension for Deskew Technologies Gig Performer is intended to offer the performer a focussed touchscreen-friendly user interface for selecting songs within Gig Performer.

It is intended, primarily, as a technology demonstration of using a web based UI within a Gig Performer extension. You can get your own copy of the source code and build your own version on GitHub:

The extension integrates into your existing Gig files. The opening of the extension can be easily mapped to a Gig Performer widget and then, by extension, to any button or footswitch of your choice on your hardware MIDI controllers.

To create this mapping, add a button widget to your Global Rackspace. Edit the widget’s properties and give it an OSC/Script Name of “showBasicChooser“. You can then map this widget to any button, footswitch or key on any of your connected hardware MIDI controllers.
